KINGMAN, AZ (AP) -

Authorities say a crash involving a big rig in Kingman is expected to cause delays for travelers driving between Las Vegas and Phoenix.

Arizona Department of Transportation officials say the crash is restricting the intersection of U.S. 93 at Interstate 40, where southbound lanes of U.S. 93 are expected to remain closed all of Friday afternoon.

ADOT officials say drivers heading from Las Vegas to Phoenix should expect significant delays and allow for extra travel time.

Drivers heading from Phoenix to Las Vegas should expect restrictions and delays exiting I-40 westbound at U.S. 93.

ADOT officials say drivers leaving Las Vegas should consider avoiding US 93 southbound into Kingman by instead using US 95 southbound in Nevada until reaching I-40.
