Valley artists will display their work amid flowers and desert plants tonight at the 17th annual Art in the Garden event.

Berridge Nurseries is showcasing artists and hosting a farmers market for the springtime celebration. Works will include paintings, pottery, jewelry and more. The farmers market will feature local businesses that use Arizona-grown ingredients, as well as two food trucks.

Visitors can also see garden demonstrations at the event, as well as a local chef cooking demonstration.

Local chef and caterer, Jennifer Russo of The Market by Jennifer's Restaurant and Bar will cook a three-course meal, and other vendors include Danzeisen Dairy, Belinda's Pickles, O' SO Sweet, JUIC'D Life and Cotton Country Jams.

The event is free and open to the public, and will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the nursery.
