March for Babies unites Valley to support research for healthy babies
PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -
More than 87,000 babies were born in Arizona last year, and about one in eight were born too soon.
The March for Babies is a fundraising walk that aims to help families in the community and improve the health of babies. With nonprofit partners March of Dimes, the walk will raise money to help ensure full-term pregnancies and contribute to research on complications that threaten pregnancy health.
The Metro Phoenix March for Babies will kick off tomorrow morning, April 11 at the Wesley Bolin Plaza. Registration for the walk will begin at 7 a.m., and the walk will start at 8 a.m.
Family teams, friends and company teams from across the Valley will unite to support families in the area and join the cause for healthy children.
