Phoenix Home and Garden magazine hosts annual Garden TourPosted: Updated:
This time of year, the weather is perfect to go outside and spruce up your garden.
But if you need some inspiration, we know just where to get it.
Phoenix Home and Garden magazine is hosting its annual Garden Tour. The 17th annual event will take place Sunday, April 12. All of the gardens on the self-guided tour are in Paradise Valley.
“There are five gardens on the tour this year,” says coordinator Lauren Barlow. “They're all really unique. So people who attend the tour can get some great ideas for their own gardening and their own backyards.”
Enjoy a walk through some of the area's most picturesque residential landscapes where innovative design, unexpected plant combinations and prodigious use of unusual materials are on display. Each private garden offers a different perspective on desert living, and visitors are encouraged to explore.
Proceeds benefit the Desert Botanical Garden. Gardening experts and professional landscapers will be on hand in each yard to give information and answer questions.
Two of the gardens will even be catered. Tickets are $45
You can get more gardening ideas in the April issue of Phoenix Home and Garden magazine, which is on newsstands now.
