Peoria Easter Egg Hunt
For 39 years, the Sanchez family and the City of Peoria have worked together to give children the ultimate Easter egg hunt. This year's egg hunt will take place on Saturday, April 4 from 8 a.m. to noon at the newly renovated Peoria Sports Complex, located at 16101 N. 83rd Ave. just south of Bell Road.
New accessibility ramps to the field will make it easier for participants to access the hunt. Once again, there will be a dedicated hunt time geared for participants who have disabilities. This will create a safer and more enjoyable opportunity for everyone.
This year's activities for families include "Cottontail Lane" and "Bunny Land" where kids can participate in carnival games and arts & crafts activities. "Fun Meadows" will be where children can enjoy the petting zoo, take a train ride, and jump on inflatables. "Mr. and Mrs. Bunny" will be starting the candy hunts with the one-year-olds at 8:20 a.m.
Parking and admission is free with a donation of canned food to benefit St. Mary's Westside Food Bank Alliance. Food and beverage concessions will be available for purchase including a special $5 kids' meal (hot dog, chips, and a small drink) for those 12 and under. For more information, call 623-773-7137 or visit us on the web at www.peoriaaz.gov/specialevents.

Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue
Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue, Inc., has been caring for abused, abandoned and unwanted domestic rabbits since our founding in 1986. We are a not-for-profit, 501C3, domestic rabbit rescue organization and no-kill shelter, housing more than 130 rabbits at any time.
Since 1986, we have placed over 2500 rabbits with caring, adoptive parents… 124 last year alone. We work together with county agencies to check on abuse situations and act as expert witnesses for trials. We offer humane traps to the general public to capture stray rabbits. We only accept rabbits from other agencies and work hand in hand with the Arizona Humane Society. We also partner with the local wild rabbit rescue (AZ Fish & Game licensed)

This is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for Playworks, a nonprofit that partners with elementary schools with a vision that one day every child in America will get to play-every day. There will also be a one-mile kids Mascot Dash (featuring your Arizona Sports Team Mascots; Sun's Gorilla, Coyote's Howler, Cardinal's Big Red, Sun Devil's Sparky and Diamondback's Baxter). All of this benefits Playworks.
Post-race festival will include bounce inflatables, a DJ, vendors, interactive activities for kids, photo opportunities with planes, awards, and much more! The event is held at the Scottsdale Airpark, located at 15000 N. Airport Drive.
