Black and White Fashion

Modern Luxury Scottsdale showcases wearable high-end spring pieces that reflect hot spring trends: black and white ensembles, cutouts and wide-leg pants.

Editor-in-Chief Marie Look discusses three looks courtesy of Neiman Marcus and worn by Ford Models that are in line with styles in the magazine's March/April Spring Fashion and Home Issue fashion spread.

The first model wears a sleeveless LWD (little white dress) by Veronica Beard paired with a belted vest by Vince. The vest is a transitional piece that can be removed for a simple yet stylish spring outfit for day or night. The open lapel of the vest adds a modern touch to the outfit, with clean lines reminiscent of the Narciso Rodriguez vest in Modern Luxury Scottsdale's March/April issue.

The next look consists of a feathered blouse by Brunello Cucinelli tucked into a knee-length Theory skirt. The trendy wicker chair-esque laser cutouts or “punchouts” in the skirt were on point for spring fashion. Not to mention, the loose flare in the skirt brought a wearable essence to these embellished staples.

The final look is the grand finale: A square cutout collared jacket by Akris layered over a Josie Natori white tank. The jacket is the statement piece of the look yet the bottom half honed its practical value. A wide-leg ankle trouser by Alexis Barbara proves to be the perfect addition to any woman's spring wardrobe. The loose fit of the palazzo-style pant is worn to flatter the female figure and seeks to complete this effortless yet high-fashion ensemble.
