Suspect sought in armed robbery of Phoenix Domino's

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) - Phoenix police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect in an armed robbery at a Domino's Pizza.

A man armed with a metal bar reportedly entered the business near 35th Avenue and Bethany Home Road around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and demanded all the money in the store.

Police said the suspect became impatient and struck an employee over the head with the bar, then demanded cash from the registers.

The employee opened a register, and the man removed the cash before fleeing eastbound on foot toward an alley, police said.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot-10 black man in his 20s with a thin build. He was wearing a light blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black Nike shoes with a white swoosh and white gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Phoenix Police Department at 602-262-6141 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. Silent Witness is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
