High school juniors and seniors from around the state will have thousands of prom dresses from which to choose, along with shoes, purses and accessories, during the East Valley Women's League's 14th annual Cinderella Affair.

The Cinderella Affair boutique will be open the following dates:

Sparks Festival

Spark! Mesa's Festival of Creativity is a feast for the senses, with visual and hands-on opportunities galore! It's a free and immersive event for all ages being held at Mesa Arts Center.

The festival features the work of Arizona artists and performers as well as internationally renowned touring and visual artists.

The center will transform into Spark! After Dark, with night-time performances and festivities culminating in a fireworks display on Saturday night.

Check Please! Arizona

Eight's Check, Please! Arizona Festival transforms Cityscape in downtown Phoenix.

Eight's Check Please! Arizona Festival is a major fundraiser for Eight, Arizona PBS, and is in its third year.

The festival celebrates the three-time Emmy Award winning Show, Check, Please! Arizona, hosted by award-winning Chef Robert McGrath in roundtable discussions with regular consumers who share information about their favorite independent Arizona restaurants.

The namesake festival, in addition to featuring an esteemed array of delicious food and beverages, also offers fans the chance to audition for the award-winning show. This year, Chef Mark Tarbell will be one of the featured chef's and participating restaurants. He joins us with a unique recipe and to talk about the event.

There will be up to 26 restaurants participating in this event.

Phoenix Fire Department Toy Drive

The Phoenix Fire Department will be collecting teddy bears today for young trauma patients.

The department will collect the bears at 9 a.m. at Larkspur Elementary School.

HMS Host Job Fair

We are helping you in this recovering economy. HMS Host is having a job fair today at Sky Harbor Airport.

They are hiring back-of-House and front of house positions and there is a $200 sign-on bonus for cooks.

The job fair runs from 9 a.m. to 3 pm.
