Police release new details in homicide of Scottsdale woman
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -
Police have released new details in the killing of a Scottsdale woman whose body was found inside her home.
Police began investigating the death of 31-year-old Allison Feldman after her body was found at the home near Granite Reef and Osborn roads on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
Police say evidence indicates the killer left Feldman's home around 1 a.m., meaning he would have been unaccounted for late Tuesday evening until early Wednesday morning.
Investigators believe he stole only a few items from the home, including Feldman's Apple iPhone 6, credit cards, and possibly a Tiffany bracelet and other jewelry.
Police say he may have suffered minor cuts or injuries to his hands or arms when Feldman tried to fight him off.
According to police, it is possible that the subject lives in the area, where Feldman was reportedly well known and well liked.
Police say he may not always be violent but could become violent when confronted.
Investigators say they have physical evidence that will positively identify the killer and also clear the name of anyone not involved.
Anyone who has observed a male with a Tiffany bracelet or any woman who has been given a Tiffany bracelet in the last month is asked to contact the Scottsdale Police Department at 480-312-TIPS or online at www.tipsoft.com.
