CHANDLER, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -

Attention adrenaline seekers: The world's first 5K Thrillseeker Stunt Run race is coming to the Valley, bringing obstacles, stunts and adventure to brave participants.

The Stunt Run is an obstacle 5K race featuring challenges like an immense water slide, a giant-trike rally, pole vaults, free falls and eight other action-packed hurdles. The race provides a thrilling stunt experience in a safe and fun environment.

The race will be on Saturday, March 28 at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler. The thrills begin at 8 a.m., and a kids 1K event for children ages 6 through 12 will begin at 3 p.m.

The ThrillSeeker Stunt Run is a national adrenaline-packed tour presented by Guardian Angel Council. The course was developed by Hollywood stunt producers who have worked on stunt shows like Nitro Circus and Thrillbillies.

A portion of the proceeds from the race will benefit Be the Match, a national bone marrow registry that helps patients find donors and provides support through the transplant process. Be the Match Registry will be on-site at the Stunt Run for testing to determine if volunteer participants may be matches for patients in need.

The event will also feature vendors, a DJ and other activities to keep the energy high.

To register, visit the official website of the race at stuntrun.com. The ThrillSeeker Stunt Run also can be found on Twitter @StuntRun5K and the ThrillSeeker Facebook page.
