A man and an elderly woman were seriously injured in a crash in Phoenix Saturday evening.
A Cadillac and a Nissan Altima collided shortly before 5:30 p.m. near Tatum and Shea boulevards.
Phoenix Fire Capt. Benjamin Santillan said a woman in her 90s had to be extricated from the Cadillac. She was transported to a nearby trauma center in serious condition.
The man in the Altima, who is in his 50s, was also transported in serious condition.
The crash is under investigation.
