Wet 'N' Wild opens for the season

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -  With the 90's in reach, ways to cool off are once again making a splash.

“It's not just for kids. There are some really exciting rides that adults love! Adults can have a fun time here at Wet 'N' Wild Phoenix,” said spokeswoman Heather Austin.

Wet ‘N' Wild near 43rd Ave and Pinnacle Peak opened the 2015 season Sunday, as the water rides fired back up. Guests will find all their favorite slides and rides, along with a few new attractions.

“The lazy river won't be lazy anymore. We have more food, more fun, we have more shade, more seating, just more for the whole family to enjoy this season,” said Austin.

Wet ‘N' Wild will also be open next weekend and then open for spring break March 28th through April 3.

“Right now, the best rate is the season pass. And if you get it for $49.99 it's the best rate of the season. If you buy four of them you get free parking and it pays for itself in less than two visits so that's the best deal,” said Austin.
