PHOENIX, Ariz. -- With spring training in the air, the Valley’s own "Ballpark Man" is gearing up to visit all 30 spring training camps in Arizona and Florida in 30 days.

Thomas Kimbro may be the biggest baseball fan in Phoenix, and he has a “man cave” packed with memorabilia, merchandise and memories to prove it.

Last year, Kimbro traveled to ten fields, every Arizona spring training game, and 29 major ballparks in just 61 days. In 2002, he visited every single ball park in Major League Baseball. This year, Kimbro will stop by all of the spring training camps and then go down to Florida to visit all of the parks there.

Kimbro has written a book about his ballpark experiences called “The Ballpark Guide with the Ballpark Man.” Each chapter takes place at a different field that Kimbro has visited, offering tips for the quickest and cheapest ways to get to the ballpark, places to visit around the park, the best stadium foods and more. Look for the 48-chapter guide on Amazon this spring.
