MESA, Ariz. -- A Mesa woman was burned when her mobile home caught fire Saturday, according to Rural Metro Fire Department.

Firefighters received multiple calls about a mobile home on fire near 80th Street and University Drive.

Battalion Chief Kevin Hennis said he arrived within two minutes and found the home well involved with fire.

A female resident was transported to Banner Baywood Medical Center with first- and second-degree burns to her hands, Hennis said.

The fire is still under investigation.

"I'm still trying to find the other homeowner, and we can talk to them a little bit better," Hennis said. "Due to the extent of the fire, the investigation will be delayed a little bit until we can find a cause. But if we can talk to the homeowner, it might be able to help us."
