PHOENIX -- A collision Tuesday night forced the closure of the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 at Riggs Road. All lanes have now been reopened.
An Arizona Department of Public Safety officer said it appeared one of the vehicles had a punctured fuel tank and gas was spilling on the ground.
A heavy-duty tow truck was called to the scene to remove a semi-trailer that was involved.
One lane was reopened around 9 p.m. and traffic began moving once again. But drivers were still advised to consider alternate routes. All lanes were reopened before 11 p.m.
