FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- More than six inches of snow fell in Flagstaff Monday. But people living there said they didn’t’ mind it.

“Oh, it’s so beautiful,” said Hamed Alkhawaldi.

“It’s about time; been missing it this year,” said Bill Furrey.

“I am happy that we got some precipitation, but I would have liked the fluffier snow,” said Howard Lukin.

However, some drivers had a hard time driving in the snow.

“Everybody is driving too fast,” said Fernando Fez, tow truck driver.

It kept law enforcement and tow truck drivers like Fez very busy.

“Yup, busy morning. It was busy all morning,” he said. “I just dropped one off, and now, they just called me back to pick up this one, so just back-to-back.”

“I see people who have 4x4s and think they can go really fast, thinking it’ll stop, which is wrong,” said Howard Lukin. “It’s good at getting out of a stuck place but not good at stopping.”

Aaron Greymountain said his issues weren’t too serious.

“It’s wet snow. We got stuck in the snow just trying to get out of the driveway,” he said.

Other than that, Greymountain said like other locals, he's just enjoying the snow while it lasts.
