LOS ANGELES (AP) — Kelli Hayes scored a career-high 12 points as UCLA hung a rout on Arizona, 75-41 on Sunday.
The Bruins built a 17-point lead in the first half and outscored the Wildcats by 17 in the second half for good measure.
In total, 13 UCLA players saw action against Arizona, with all but two of them scoring. Hayes, a freshman, was 6 of 10 from the field, dished off a pair of assists and blocked a shot. Monique Billings added 10 points. Collectively the Bruins were 32 of 69 from the field (46.4 percent), including 4 of 12 from beyond the arc.
UCLA (11-16, 7-9 Pac-12) dominated the boards, 50-32. Corinne Costa led the way with 11, with Kacy Swain pulling down six more.
Malena Washington had 15 points to lead Arizona (9-18, 2-14), the lone player to reach double-figure scoring. The Wildcats were 15 of 57 from the field (26.3 percent), including 3 of 20 from deep.
