TEMPE, Ariz. -- Investigators are trying to determine what started a fire at a Tempe home Sunday.

Firefighters responded to the house near Mill Avenue and University Drive and found heavy fire on the second floor.

They withdrew from the home temporarily due to high heat, but they were able to re-enter and extinguish the blaze after firefighters from another engine company attacked the fire from the outside.

No one was home at the time, according to the fire department.

No injuries were reported.
