TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Tucson police have identified a driver who was killed after rear-ending a city bus.

Sgt. Pete Dugan said Saturday that 67-year-old Daryl Leinenbach died after he failed to stop behind the parked Sun Tran bus Friday just after 6:30 p.m.

Dugan says a passenger in Leinenbach's SUV and the bus driver were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to police, the bus had pulled over to a bus stop on 22nd Street near South Brown Avenue.

Dugan says the SUV crashed into the bus without braking.

He says speed does not appear to be a factor but Leinenbach was not wearing a seatbelt.
