PEORIA, Ariz. – Turn spring break into an out of this world voyage at the Challenger Space Center in Peoria.

The center is hosting activities all spring long, and they are kicking off the adventure with Family Star Night starting at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 28. Families are invited for a night of hands-on activities, museums tours and an interactive slide presentation on constellations, planets, and upcoming sky events with high powered telescopes and outdoor stargazing guided by professional sky gazer Tony LaConte.

Check out the center’s Lego workshops on March 7 and 21 to build a brick masterpiece, colonize a Lego moon, compete in the Lego Derby or find their way through a brick maze.

Challenger Space Center also welcomes visitors to the Nano Days event on March 28, where they can explore a miniscule world of materials with special properties and new technologies. The event will include interactive activities for children as well as events exploring current research for adults.

The Challenger Space Center is open for exploring Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Check out their website for event information, pricing and more.
