Gunman robs Prescott Valley bank

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. -- Police are looking for a gunman who robbed a bank in Prescott Valley Tuesday morning.

The robber handed a teller a note, stated he had a gun and demanded large bills, according to Prescott Valley Police Sgt. Scott Stebbins.

The gunman took the money and fled Compass Bank in the 7600 block of East State Route 69.

The suspect is described as about 35 years old with a tanned skin tone and short brown hair. He is about 5'10" tall with a thin build.

He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, dark aviator-style glasses, a thin, tight-fitting black shirt or jacket, black shorts with white side stripes and white running shoes with black ankle socks.

Silent Witness is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
