MESA, Ariz. -- If you have young kids or grand-kids, this is a sale you won't want to miss!

Kid's Closet Connection is a local, semi-annual children's sale that connects people who want to sell their gently-used children's items to those who want to purchase quality kid's items for a good price.

Items up for sale include clothing, toys, baby gear, books, play equipment, strollers, and more. There is maternity clothing for moms-to-be, and furniture to decorate a nursery or a child's room.

Best of all? The prices are great. Some items sell at up to 90 percent off retail.

Those in the know describe it as a super-large, organized, walk-in closet chock-full of gently-used treasures for tots.

Here's how it all works. Valley moms first sign up to sell at one of the three area Kid's Closet Connection events. They then price their items at home and drop them off on a designated drop-off time. The next day, the sale opens to the public and area families have the opportunity to shop among the tens of thousands of items.

"I just heard there were great options for clothes," said one shopper. "I was interested in getting a little bike for my son."

"There is a lot of variety. Lots of clothes," said another. "You can get pants for $2, and tops for $3."

The sale's state-of-the art "scanning" price tags ensure you spend less time waiting in line, leaving more time for you to shop.

The sale also accepts major credit cards and offers shopping rewards with a Closet Cash incentive program.
