PHOENIX (AP) -- A Gila River woman has been sentenced to five years in prison for a robbery last year outside a casino.

Federal prosecutors say 36-year-old Prima Shalis Mendoza was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty to robbery.

They say the victim was parked outside the Wild Horse Pass Casino on the Gila River Indian Community on June 26.

Authorities say Mendoza approached the woman and threatened to shoot her if she didn't hand over her purse.

Mendoza fled with the victim's purse, but she was later arrested.
