SUN CITY, Ariz. -- Tax season is here, and everyone knows that tax preparation can be time-consuming and frustrating. But there is a way to get someone else to do your taxes for free.

That help is being offered at the "AARP Tax-Aide" service sites around the Valley.

We found many people waiting for four hours at the Sun City location, anxious to get their taxes prepared. But lots of folks said it's worth the wait.

"I've been doing it for the past nine to ten years, since I found out about it. It's an awesome service,” said Yesenia Cisneros."You wait a little bit, but it's worth it."

In the end, the service will save Cisneros more than a hundred dollars.

Several tax preparers work to get the job done. One person prepares the tax return, while others check the work to make sure it was prepared correctly.

"They bring their forms in,” said volunteer John McLaughlan. “We put the information in, and the computer does all the figuring.”

“I think they provide a great service," said Tyler Indovina.

Tyler and Maria Indovina are both full-time employees and students, so coming to get their taxes prepared on Presidents' Day worked out for them.

"We can save a quick 50 dollars and kind of hang out," said Indovina. "It's great. Can't beat the price."

"More money in your pocket," said Maria.

AARP Tax-Aide workers said even though they primarily serve senior citizens, those who receive help do not have to be senior citizens. There are also no income restrictions.

The tax return does need to be a simple one, meaning no rental income and nothing that deals with depreciation.
