Police seek 2 suspects in Phoenix store burglary

PHOENIX – Police are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating two suspects involved in a burglary at a Phoenix convenience store.

Police said the suspects entered the Super Plus 2000 Food Mart near Indian School Road and 12th Street at 10:15 a.m. on Feb. 2.

According to police, one suspect distracted the clerk at the front by making a purchase and chatting while the other suspect went directly to the back of the store, entered the office and stole more than $5,000 in cash.

Both suspects left in a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

One suspect is described as a black male in his 30s, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 220 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a goatee. He was wearing a gray baseball hat, gray windbreaker jacket and blue jeans.

The other suspect is described as a black male in his 30s, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 220 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and what appears to be a large gap between his front teeth. He was wearing a black-and-gray camouflage long-sleeve shirt and a black beanie.
