PHOENIX, Ariz. -- The 13th Floor in Phoenix is known for its Halloween haunts, but lovers can get their share of scares at a Friday their 13th terror celebration. Valentine X pairs romance and horror for a thrilling Valentine’s Day event.

The candlelit night of horror lets lovebirds feel the romance amidst their chainsaw-wielding haunts and scream-inducing frights.

"We all got together and made up our take on Valentine’s Day," 13th Floor scare expert Jacob Redwood said. "This story is about a guy that came to propose to his girlfriend, and he finds out she’s cheating on him, so he does the reasonable thing and grabbed the butcher knife. So now he tries to set that right every Valentine’s Day."

The horror-fest features unique Valentine’s themed costumes as well as the usual safety precautions and scare tactics that scream-seekers expect from 13th Floor.

The scares are open today, Feb. 13 and tomorrow, Feb. 14, from 7:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. General admission is $24.99, and Fast Pass Registration is $34.99.
