CASA GRANDE, Ariz. -- A 27-year-old man was convicted of manslaughter in connection with a 2012 crash that killed a Casa Grande teenager.

A Pinal County jury found Felipe Zamorano Urias guilty on Monday.

He faces up to 21 years in prison when he is sentenced March 10.

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office reported that Urias ran a stop sign at Chuichu and Peters roads on Sept. 14, 2012, causing his truck to hit the driver's side door of a Bronco and push it into a pole.

Seventeen-year-old Albert Arias was killed.

Arias was a senior at Vista Grande High School and participated in the Casa Grande Youth Explorer program with a desire to go into law enforcement, according to the Pinal County Attorney's Office.
