PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Children’s Museum of Phoenix wraps up our week-long series on spring break camps for kids.
The spring break camp at the Children’s Museum is packed with hands-on learning adventures, complete with literature exploration, art activities and tons of play. The camp is geared toward children ages 5 through 8, and the two sessions run from March 16 through March 20, or March 23 through March 27.
"At the Children’s Museum of Phoenix we really value learning through play," camp coordinator Laura Marrocco said. "We want to create a good environment where we can foster creativity and encourage imagination."
March is National Noodle Month, and campers can join in on the fun at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix camp for Oodles of Noodles. For five days, campers will have an opportunity to explore noodles in a whole new way through hands-on projects that focus on art, science, movement and dramatic play. Activities include Noodle Olympics, a Noodle Parade, the Noodle Nutrition Challenge and Noodle-inspired projects and games.
The fun starts at 9 a.m. every day and runs until 4 p.m. The museum offers and early drop-off option at 8 a.m., as well as a late pick-up by 5:30 p.m. The museum is located
