PHOENIX -- Pretty quiet weather is expected through the weekend for metro Phoenix. Temps will be warming up a bit, with highs in the mid-80s both Saturday and Sunday.

Monday, a cold front will approach from the north and will drop temperatures, but it doesn’t look like there is much of a chance for rain in metro Phoenix.

That early-week cold front from Canada is very dry, but it will partially combine with some subtropical moisture out of Mexico.

As that happens, there seems to be a decent chance for rain and snow showers in eastern Arizona on Monday. No major accumulations are expected.

That system will once again bring us rather breezy conditions at times.

Next week, look for Valley highs to mainly be in the 70s, which is about normal for this time of year. Morning lows will be in the 50s and upper 40s.
