SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Saddle up! The 60th Annual Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show is taking place at Westworld beginning Thursday February 12 through Feb 22.

Over 2,500 horses from all around the world will be participating. We saw some of them warming up Thursday morning. "They're like athletes; they need to warm up to compete," says event organizer Janice McCrea Wright. "These horses are very well pampered, they're very well-trained."

The event is about more than just horses. In addition to the competitions, parties and educational seminars, the event features hundreds of vendor booths, offering everything from lavish jewelry to clothing and fine art.

"We've got amazing shopping with more than 300 vendors," says McCrea Wright. "It's like a feeding frenzy with all the food we have out here."
