AHS' Paws for Love Valentine's Kissing Booth and Adoption Event
Paws for Love is a fund raising campaign that offers Valley pet lovers and shoppers the opportunity to donate to the lifesaving programs and services of AHS at any Safeway store throughout the month of February.The campaign will feature a Valentine's kissing booth and adoption event on Friday, February 13. The event will celebrate the joy of pets and raise funds.

Creativity Lecture
One of Arizona's young visionaries and social media leaders is coming to ASU's Downtown Phoenix campus to headline a popular lecture series and discuss the power of connecting creativity and culture around the world.
Blake Brinker's "Creativity, Technology and Humanity" kicks off the spring 2015 Humanities Lecture Series as well as Project Humanities, a university wide initiative to promote the importance of humanities within the higher education system and community.

Arizona Beer Week
The 5th Annual Arizona Beer Week brought to you by the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild kicks off February 12th with over 400 craft beer events celebrating Arizona Craft Beer and the growing industry. There are events for everyone from specialty pairings like Girl Scout Cookies and Craft Beer and Pie and Craft Beer to beer dinners and major festivals. There are a variety of craft beer dinners, tap takeovers, meet the brewers, comedy shows and even beer education classes.

StandDown Homeless Vets
More than 2,000 homeless and at-risk military veterans are expected to receive temporary haven and assistance during the 2015 Maricopa County StandDown, a two-day event beginning Thursday, February 12th at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix. The Maricopa County StandDown is a proud member of the Arizona Veterans StandDown Alliance coordinated as a D.B.A. of the Arizona Coalition to End Homelessness.

Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show
The 60th Annual Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show will take place at Westworld beginning today, Thursday February 12 through Feb 22nd. Over 2,500 horses are coming from all around the world. "It will be our biggest show ever." The show starts at 8am. "We feature the youth riders that first weekend."
Gates open 8 a.m. daily Feb. 12-22.
