GOODYEAR, Ariz. (AP) -- A woman has been sentenced to 22 years in prison in a fatal drive-by shooting in Goodyear.

Authorities say Breanna Lopez pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and drive-by shooting.

Goodyear police say her husband Daniel Lopez pleaded guilty to the same charges and is scheduled to be sentenced on March 27.

Police responded to a call of shots fired on July 26, 2013 and found a crashed vehicle.

They say the driver had a gunshot wound and later died at a Phoenix hospital.

Police say Breanna Lopez and her husband allegedly followed the victim's car for more than two miles before shots were fired.
