PHOENIX -- The Arizona Supreme Court won't reconsider whether convicted murderer Jodi Arias should be allowed to testify in secret during her current sentencing retrial.
The state's highest court denied Arias' petition for review Tuesday without comment. That lets stand a November ruling by the Arizona Court of Appeals.
Arias was convicted of first-degree murder in May 2013 in the killing of her former boyfriend Travis Alexander at his suburban Phoenix home in 2008.
However, jurors deadlocked on her punishment.
A new jury was impaneled in October 2014 to consider only the life or death sentence.
The sentencing retrial resumes Wednesday morning.
