The Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA (AAWL & SPCA) is the largest and oldest no-kill shelter in Arizona. The Arizona Animal Welfare League offers Spring, Summer, and Fall camps filled with animal interactions, crafts, games, and more!

Week-long sessions for children ages 6-12 cover a range of topics focusing on animal care, veterinary medicine, responsible pet ownership and wildlife education. For teens, we offer Camp Vet, where kids gain first-hand experience in the exciting world of veterinary science. Camp Vet is a hands-on class for 12-17 year olds with a serious interest in learning about careers in Veterinary medicine. This career discovery program introduces campers to a wide variety of animals and the care that they require, while learning what it takes to become a veterinarian.

Free In Store Pick-Up at Walmart
Three East Valley Walmart stores will allow customers to order groceries online and pick them up at the store for free. Online grocery items have the same prices as store items, although there is a $30 minimum-purchase requirement, there are no fees. The service begins today at one Walmart Supercenter in Chandler and two in Mesa. Customers visit and place an order.
