PHOENIX (AP) -- A 23-year-old man has been arrested following a Phoenix-area fatal rollover accident in which a passenger was fatally injured.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office says a car driven by Adrian Guzman-Fernandez went off 59th Avenue south of Buckeye Road, struck a canal embankment and then rolled numerous times early Sunday.

Deputy Joaquin Enriquez says that Guzman-Fernandez was found hiding in a commercial trucking company's lot near the accident scene.

Enriquez says 47-year-old Ramon Santana was fatally injured.

Enriquez says Guzman-Fernandez was booked into jail on suspicion of second-degree homicide, leaving the scene of a fatal traffic collision, aggravated DUI and endangerment. It's not clear whether he has an attorney.
