Help enrolling in health insurance before the deadline
By Christina O'Haver
PHOENIX -- There's just one week left to sign up for health insurance and avoid paying big fines on your taxes.
There's a place you can go to get help enrolling.
Those looking for help enrolling got it Saturday in Phoenix at the Cartwright School District Training Center near 51st Avenue and Indian School Road.
Cover Arizona spent the day signing up hundreds for health insurance, and there's still time to sign up. Just make sure you have an ID, proof of citizenship, documentation of residency and income, and enroll before the enrollment period ends Feb. 15.
“All of these plans cover all of the basics. Pre-existing conditions no longer apply, so if you were denied in the past, you can come down and still find a plan today,” said Stan Williams with Enroll America.
