GILBERT, Ariz. -- Today is Frozen Yogurt Day, and yogurt lovers across the Valley can celebrate the icy treat all night long.

Frozen yogurt took off in the 80s and 90s, and now the treat is more popular than ever. Offering a sweet alternative to ice cream, fro-yo gives anyone a little something to rejoice about.

Valley fro-yo favorite Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt is celebrating national Frozen Yogurt Day by offering your first 6 ounces of frozen yogurt for free from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at their Gilbert location. National Frozen Yogurt Day only comes around once year, so stop by and load up a bowl before it’s over!
