Comedian Rod Man to perform in Tempe

TEMPE, Ariz. – Comedian Rod Thompson, or more popularly known as Rod Man is performing at Tempe Improv with shows from now until this Sunday, Feb. 8.

The winner of 2014’s Last Comic Standing, Thompson is a seasoned comic. His television appearances include "Def Comedy Jam," "Bet's Comic View," and "Showtime at the Apollo." Most recently, Thompson appeared on "Premium Blend" on Comedy Central. He has been featured in the films "Love Chronicles" and "Player's Ball." On stage, Rod has opened for Patti Labelle, was on the Cedric "The Entertainer" comedy revue tour and has shared stage time many comedy greats.

Rod Man is currently on tour, and has plans for his own TV show in the works. Catch Rod Man’s act at Tempe Improv this weekend.
