CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Flames forced a Chandler man to run from his home early Friday morning.

A Chandler Fire Department spokesman said the fire started in a back bedroom and spread to the attic.

The man made it out of the house in the area of Arizona Avenue and Frye Road safely.

Investigators said the man who lives in the house is the son of legendary heavyweight boxer Zora Folley, who lived in Chandler in the 1950s and '60s. Folley, who once fought Muhammad Ali, died in Tucson in 1972.

The man's brother said the home means a lot to the family because they were born and raised there.

The cause of the fire was still being investigated.
