Phoenix weather: Mid-80s for the ValleyPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- High pressure continues to settle over Arizona, pushing the jet stream well to the north of the state. As a result, we’ll see temperatures well above normal for the next several days. In fact, they’ll be the warmest temperatures so far this year.
We’re forecasting highs in the mid-80s for metro Phoenix on Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will moderate for the weekend, but it still looks like we’ll be in the low-80s.
By the middle of next week, we’ll “cool down” into the upper-70s. No rain is in the forecast for metro Phoenix through the weekend of Valentine’s Day.
In the mountains, we’ll continue to see highs in the 60s and even the 70s. In fact, the entire state is forecast to stay dry for the next 10 days as well.
