PHOENIX, Ariz. – Looking to brighten up your wardrobe? Personal stylist Devy Walker joined Good Morning Arizona to share some tips and tricks to make your looks pop.

Give basic pieces with neutral colors some zest by adding a touch of color. Here are a few ways to mix it up this season:

  1. Gray: Gray can look a little dull all by itself, but mixed with orange, it is fabulous.  Here we have taken a heather gray top, dark gray leggings and added an orange vest to transform this basic look. We have added a mixed metal necklace, with silver, and copper and gold to compliment the entire ensemble
  2. Brown: A beautiful pin stripe suit can be sexy and hip by adding a touch of color underneath. Turquoise, a universal color which looks good on everyone, is a beautiful compliment to the brown. By adding a bright color, you not only look more radiant, but the contrast with the brown is super flattering.
  3. Charcoal: Charcoal jackets are easy to mix with colors. You really can think of them just like black. Anything that would look good under a black jacket will look fabulous under charcoal. The combination of burgundy with charcoal is rich and sophisticated, and looks great with a black bottom.
  4. Pink and Red: Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and these two colors are fabulous together. First, start by color blocking: One color on top, and the other on the bottom. These red pants are fabulous when paired with a magenta top and purple jacket with magenta shading. Simply pair with a black shoe to complete the look.
