PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) -- A third victim has died of injuries after an attack last month at a north Prescott home that also left two women dead.

Prescott police say 50-year-old Mark Potter died Tuesday. He had been in critical condition at a Flagstaff hospital.

Authorities say 75-year-old Anita Wells and 47-year-old Jodi Reed were found dead on Jan. 23 in the home Wells shared with her son.

Police say 51-year-old Jerry Lee Wells was arrested later at a hotel in Phoenix and is facing premeditated murder charges.

Family members told investigators that Jerry Wells had recently been told to leave the home.

He's accused of leaving the scene and then beating 45-year-old Jason Wolf at a Prescott Valley home.

Police say the pole recovered from Wolf's attack was likely used in the killings.
