Play date for grownups at Children's Museum of PhoenixPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Who says play dates are just for the kids? The folks at the Children's Museum of Phoenix are inviting the grownups to come out and play this weekend!
The museum is offering fun activities including a giant game of beer pong, a giant game of Jenga, and a big game of laser tag that will take over the entire third floor of the museum.
"A couple of years ago we came up with this 21-and-over concept," says events manager Alex Wurth. "We just wanted to change it up."
Adults can also check out the new Blockmania Exhibit. Come build with blocks of all sizes, shapes and colors designed to spark your creativity, imagination and innovation.
Come for dinner and enjoy treats from food truck including Buzz 'n Beez, Burgers Amore and Waffle Love. There will be a cash bar as well as a DJ.
Adults will have fun playing retro board games & old school activities like Toss Across, Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots, and Battleship.
"We're going to have candy bat bingo," says Wurth. "Just three floors of a lot of fun!"
The event will be held Saturday, Feb. 7, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
