PHOENIX -- A mostly sunny Tuesday is on tap for the Valley with afternoon highs near 77 degrees.
A ridge of high pressure centered near the California coast will slowly move inland this week, bringing continued dry and pleasant weather to Arizona but also a warming trend.
The normal high temperature for this time of year is 69 degrees in the Valley, but we'll be in the upper 70s today and tomorrow and near 80 from Sunday through early next week.
Low pressure will stay to our north, bringing occasional high clouds to the Southwest, but no rain is expected in the next seven days. Overnight lows will stay mild, ranging from the mid-40s to mid-50s around town. Light winds are also expected.
