Arizona breweries face off at Brewers BowlPosted: Updated:
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Super Bowl fun isn’t just for football fans. Breweries from across Arizona are joining the action this Saturday for the first annual "Brewers Bowl" craft beer festival hosted by Bad Water Brewing in Downtown Scottsdale.
The event will showcase more than 15 local breweries, complete with three food trucks and live music. Food trucks to be featured at the festival include Rock A Belly, Triple Dot Food truck and Taste Rite Food Truck. The Brewers Bowl will be held in Old Town Scottsdale on Brown Avenue between 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue, which will be closed to vehicle traffic.
Breweries will have the chance to submit their best brews to be crowned the beer-brewing champions. Visitors will have the chance to check out what Arizona hops have to offer, and at the end of the festival the certified beer judges will decide who will take the Brewers Bowl trophy home.
Proceeds from the Brewers Bowl will benefit the Paradise Valley Emergency Food Bank, a food cooperative dedicated to providing emergency provisions to the community's hungry.
Participating breweries include Bad Water Brewing, The Beer Research Institute, The Cider Mill Eatery and Wine Bar, College Street Brewhouse & Pub, Desert Eagle Brewing Company, Dubina Brewing Co., Fate Brewing Co., Freak'N Brewing Company, Historic Brewing Company, Lumberyard Brewing Co., Nimbus Brewing Company, North Mountain Brewing Company, Oak Creek Brewing Co., O.H.S.O. Eatery + nanoBrewery, The Phoenix Ale Brewery, Saddle Mountain Brewing Company, and Uncle Bear's Brewery.

General admission is $25 dollars, and includes 20 beer tasting tickets.
VIP admission is $45, and includes 25 tickets, plus early entry into the event.
