PHOENIX, Ariz. -- Look out, boys, tackle football isn’t a man’s game. Good Morning Arizona caught up with the number one women’s tackle football team in Arizona, the Phoenix Phantomz, this morning at Super Bowl Central in Downtown Phoenix.

The Phantomz are based out of Phoenix and play games across the Valley. There are about 40 women on the team’s roster, but there is always room for more.

"Football is football whether it’s women or men," Coach Donnie Meador said. "Injuries happen a long with the game, it is what it is."

Super Bowl Central is packing 12 blocks of Downtown Phoenix with action and interactive entertainment for fans of all ages. Starting today, the free, family-friendly event will run from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. every week day until the Big Game, and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

For more information about the Phoenix Phantomz, visit their Facebook page or go to phoenixphantomz.com.
