Uber delivers puppy playdates to celebrate Puppy BowlPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX, Ariz. -- There is more to love than football at Super Bowl Central this week – Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl Café is coming to deliver a daily dose of adorable.
Beginning Thursday, Jan. 29, 25 local puppies from the Arizona Humane Society will hit the fields to compete in a live replica of the Puppy Bowl, the most anticipated canine event of the year.
Can’t make it downtown for all the puppy love? Don’t sweat it – the Arizona Humane Society is teaming up with Uber and Animal Planet to deliver puppies to animal lovers across Phoenix today, Jan. 28, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. for a puppy playdate.
For $30, participants will have 15 minutes of snuggle time with puppies, with every dollar from each visit donated directly to Arizona Humane Society. The best part? These same puppies will be part of the Puppy Bowl Café in downtown Phoenix this weekend.
How it works:
- Open the Uber app between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. today
- Request the “PUPPIES” option in the app
- Once the puppies arrive, enjoy 15 minutes of puppy snuggle time
Catch the Ruff vs. Fluff action at City Scape in downtown Phoenix’s Super Bowl Central every day until Sunday, Feb. 1. The event is free and open to the public. The Puppy Bowl Cafe opens each day at 6:30 a.m. for food and beverage to fuel up for the fluffy action.
After all of the action, the puppies will all be up for adoption on Sunday, Feb. 1 at 3 p.m. at the Arizona Humane Society’s Campus for Compassion, located at 1521 W. Dobbins Road in Phoenix.
Don’t forget to share your pictures with your favorite fluffy friends using the #puppybowl for a chance to be featured on TV during Puppy Bowl XI.
