GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- An El Mirage man has been arrested in connection with a fatal New Year's Day shooting in Glendale.

Glendale police say 24-year-old Steven Orozco Jr. is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder, aggravated assault and marijuana possession.

It was unclear Tuesday if Orozco has a lawyer.

Police say three people were found shot in a Glendale parking lot around 1 a.m. on Jan. 1.

All three were taken to a hospital for treatment and 21-year-old Keith George was later pronounced dead.

Police say it appears there was a fight in the parking lot and Orozco was struck in the head with a bottle.

They say Orozco allegedly pulled out a gun and opened fire at a crowd in the parking lot and George and two other men were wounded.
