PHOENIX -- A low pressure system works its way across Arizona today, bringing cloudy and cooler conditions along with a chance of showers.
Look for a Valley high of about 70 degrees this afternoon under mostly cloudy skies. Rain chances increase throughout the afternoon, with a 70 percent chance of showers by tonight.
Showers are possible again tomorrow morning before tapering off for a partly cloudy and slightly warmer Tuesday afternoon. Look for a high of about 72 degrees tomorrow.
Wednesday and Thursday will bring high temperatures in the low to mid-70s before another storm arrives Thursday night. There is a chance of rain from Thursday night through Friday and into Saturday. Cooler temperatures in the 60s are also expected, with overnight lows dropping to the upper 40s to low 50s around the Valley.
The weather system should clear out by Sunday when partly cloudy conditions and a high temperature of 71 degrees are expected.
