Frank Caliendo kicks off Super Bowl week with a laughPosted: Updated:
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Comedian and impressionist Frank Caliendo joined Good Morning Arizona at Fan Fest in Scottsdale this morning to kick off Super Bowl week with a laugh.
Locked and loaded with impressions of coaches and players alike, Caliendo is keeping the mood light before the real action hits on Sunday, Feb. 1.
“Sometimes you do mean jokes on TV, and you don’t mean for them to come out that way,” Caliendo said. “With ESPN, I’ve been a lot more careful about it, it’s a lot more silly.”
Fan Fest Scottsdale is just one of the many entertainment destinations for thousands of fans to stop by this week. ESPN will broadcast live from the outdoor site, which is just north of Scottsdale Fashion Square, every day leading up to the big game.
The week-long event is free and open to the public, offering everything from food to fashion for any football fan. There will also be rallies, games and charity benefit events throughout the week.
Fan Fest Scottsdale will be running from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 26 through Friday, Jan. 30, and on Saturday, Jan. 31 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Super Bowl Sunday, the festivities will run from 8 a.m. to noon.

Caliendo will be performing at the Talking Stick Resort & Casino in Scottsdale on Saturday, March 14. Tickets are going fast, so get them before they’re gone!
